I'm just having a bit of a rant really because I'm sick of trying to organise nice things and feel like I'm banging my head against a wall! It's just hard bloody work!!
Anyone else feel like this???

Yea im starting to feel like that. I'm sick of trying to make everyone happy and not leave dsd out but feel like actually I'm the only one that's bothered!
Trying to organise our summer holiday and think I've made the decision were just going and that's that. If dsd can't come then were going anyway.

Don't bother - just arrange stuff for when they're not there

It's hard when it's a week though cos it means we have to tell her as she's round most weekends.
I am going to just get on with things as it's not fair on the youngest dc.

I give up now. I please myself and my dc and if DP and his dc want to join in then good but I have given up trying to bend over backwards and please them all when I never ever will. One of them will always moan or complain and I am left feeling resentful so sod the lot of them!!

The DSC seem to think that visiting the non-resident parent should be a rollercoaster of trips out and being spoiled rotten. Nope, sorry - they are here to see their father, not to be fussed treated like the messiah.

Been speaking to dh and think we're just going to let dsd dm know dates were going and if dsd can go fab.....if not we're going anyway.
We can't live our lives around dsd arrangements (that we also have no say over). It's not fair on the dc.
