Dss came to us for the second half of the summer hols yesterday. He'd been struggling and his behaviour had regressed a lot before, we believe partly due to anxiety around his mum's wedding in June.
I had a brief chat wile we were out, as he was beginning to get physical, in the playground was 9yo's do, and said that I reckoned as we'd have the 3 weeks apart how about a fresh page, and starting again.
bit later he came and gave me a hug, and said thank you, he feels much happier because I'd said that :)
Plus he'd got his xbox back ;)
won't last.... he and ds will be back to being cheeky toads, and bickering like proper (full) siblings but he's happier and more settled and that's always good.
