I woke up early this morning to cook breakfast for DF and I. His stb ex wife called wanting child maitenance early. Just a few days early so fine. She comes to the house in the middle of the school run. Her and DF stayed outside talking for 15 minutes and then comes inside and informs me that she wants SS early sunday morning. Am I being unreasonably to be upset about DF chatting up this woman?

You're not unreasonable for feeling like that but was he really chatting her up or just discussing child arrangements. I very often feel completely left out in these situations but try and tell myself that my DH has to talk to his ex about the kids but I know he wishes he didn't! I also hate it when he changes the arrangements without talking to me about it as it affects me too. makes me feel so unimportant and not part of the family.

I'm not bothered that he's going back early. It's that we don't know for sure if he is or not. DF and I had planned on taking him and our DD somewhere but now she's decided she's taking DSS herself. Fine but as we have plans all day saturday we'll not be doing his laundry and she'll have to. Maybe he wasn't chatting her up. I don't really know as I went in the house
