john, my bf and i are back together. he is serious about becoming a proper father figure in my dds life. he is a lovely guy, but im hesitant about letting emma get to close to him too soon, she really loves him. what can i suggest they do together that isnt to intense? he suggests they spend some time together, (that im not complaining about )

Sounds like a good idea to me - just normal family stuff like taking her to the park. But good if you could let me do some of that on his own so he builds a relationship with her (having had a discussion about your ground rules eg. how much ice cream she's allowed or holding hands by the roadside etc. - if you've never been a parent some of that might not occur to you).
