Hi all. My boy is 3 next month & im wanting to start swimming lessons for him.
im torn between doing 1:1 swimming lessons for him fortnightly.
or weekly group swim lessons ( 6 kids in a class).

what would you recommend? Due to costs, I can only do the 1:1 lessons fortnightly. But I’m thinking they may be more beneficial due to having that one to one teaching experience?
I can’t seem to decide lol

I’d say he’s too young really. Do you take him to the pool yourself ever? I’d try group classes first, but it depends how good he is at listening to instructions and understanding.

I'd do a group as he's beginning. You may find a bit later on if he is at a different pace to the group that 1 to 1 are more useful.

Group definitely. Having it weekly helps as there isn't too long between lessons.

Group. 3 is very small.

I do take him but only about once a month as our local public pool is really cold & grubby. Whereas the nice gym that does the swimming lessons, u have to be a full gym member or signed upto their swim lessons.

Yeh that makes sense. Maybe I’ll do the group sessions and then later on do 1:1 if I feel he needs it once he’s older.
Thank you all for your opinions. much appreciated :)
