Prescription football goggles for 16 year old

A while back someone on here recommended some prescription swimming goggles which I bought off Amazon for my ds, they were only about £18 and are brilliant. They were available in various strengths and must have been in stock in UK as they arrived quickly. I now need something similar for playing football and all I can find is stuff that's wildly expensive, comes with custom lenses rather than a range of standard strengths or takes ages to arrive as seller based in China. Does anyone out there have glasses wearing sporty kids and can you recommend anything please??

What about contact lenses ?

He refuses to wear them because he's stubborn! I heard they can get dislodged anyway so that's why I was after goggles

We bought through Asda Opticians. Were the cheapest we found and the store were v helpful.

You should be able to get them through the opticians about £100. They need to be proper sports eyewear so they don't cause any damage to him if he gets hit by a stray ball to the face.

But I would say contact lenses are a hundred times better than the glasses.

They lasted him for years playing football (goalkeeper) and squash.
It took him a lot of courage to wear them at first, but no-one bothered him about them.

Contacts were not available for his prescription so not an option.
