Spain have impressed me the most of the semi finalists; France, like England, have largely served up uninspiring fare.

Türkiye will want to avoid yellow cards if they get through this QF against the Netherlands, given 8 of their players are still carrying one from the insane Czechia match. The Dutch...who knows! They can be brilliant but they can also implode at the drop of a hat.

Interesting because I worked for Liberty Global and no offence to the Dutch but they were all quite bland. Maybe calm is a better word!

I think I'd rather face the Netherlands than Türkiye in the semi - the Dutch are more of a known quantity (and style) for the English players. Türkiye play with real attacking gusto, aggressive and on the front foot, and Guler is an absolute livewire. I'd also like the Dutch to win because they have three Liverpool players in their squad (Van Dijk, Gakpo, Gravenberch).

@Kayrel I love all the footage of Oranje fans and their coordinated dancing, marching and jumping, with their orange double decker party bus blasting out the tunes! All the bright orange everywhere, orange powder being thrown into the air - it's the most marvellous spectacle!
