Wimbledon court 1 tickets

My daughter and I have been offered court number 1 tickets for Wimbledon on the day of the men's semis. I believe the men's doubles etc will be played on court 1. Can a Wimbledon veteran suggest the best way to get tickets that early leavers may return for center court? I doubt there will be many, if any returns even on the day but I do want to scope where I need to go to check if they are any.

Thank you.

I'm not sure you will be able to, this link says resale tickets for show courts are for those with ground passes https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/atoz/ticket_resale_kiosk.html
Just to check when you say you've been offered tickets these are directly through Wimbledon? The touts are out in force on social media but tickets cannot be transferred.

Yes. Someone is transferring their tickets to us. All legit.

Are they debenture tickets or hospitality tickets? General tickets from the ballot can only be used by the person who purchased them and their guest, they check ID on entry and if the names don't match you won't be allowed in.

To be honest Wimbledon tickets are really hard to get and to pass on. My DH and adult Son have been today, Court 1, got tickets through the ballot. You only get the tickets on the app the morning you go, which was around 7 am today, they had to take photo ID, when they went in. They had a great day, but the queues for everything was way too much. Luckily they took lunch which they ate on the hill. Asked DH where’s my gift from the shop, he said towels were £95, umbrellas £120 and hats £39, so I didn’t get anything.
