England v Tonga Rugby league Series (BBC1)

First Test against Tonga starts this afternoon at St Helens, live on the BBC, Sunday 22/10/23. All three Tests will be live on TV. It should be a cracking series, Tonga are stronger and league than Union, I believe, and their squad is packed with stars from the Australian NRL competition. A criminally small amount of the sport is shown on free-to-air TV, so let's make the most of this one! Looking forward to seeing some great tries scored.

I love the way Aussies make out as if it never rains Down Under, Woolf complaining about the conditions. I watched loads of NRL games this year playing in torrential rain! I'm away next weekend, so may not catch it live, but I'll be recording it.

I only just found out I have access to the current Pacific Championship. I've seen Samoa/Aussies, and am now watching Samoa/Kiwis. Some wonderful rugby being played.
