I am carrying out research on the current state of education. Part of the research centres around the importance given to sport in the curriculum and the cost of it outside school. The benefit of sports for children has been repeatedly proven. However, due to the rising fees to join a sport, along with the cost of living crisis, there is an ongoing discussion that parents can’t afford to pay for their children to do a sports.
