Football boots / shoes suitable for autistic boy?

School says 11yo with ASD must wear 'shoes with studs' for PE (football on grass field).

11yo HATES wearing hard shoes. He wears really soft 'barefoot' shoes every day.

Can anyone recommend shoes that might fit the bill?

I think he will hate proper boots, but I'm not sure if those 'turf shoes' are sufficient? I have no idea about these things (he doesn't play football).

Look up Nike Flyknit boots, they are very soft and comfy but not cheap!

We got my eldest some really soft boots from sports direct. They are really comfy and he is super fussy. They slip on which is also helpful as they two minutes to get changed. They were 38 quid.

these from Decathlon might work as they have a soft sock like upper part? I think the laces are “dummy” laces so would work if he’s not good with laces too.

Decathlon is a good place to try on lots of styles so he can work out what feels best.
