I wouldn't comment on that thread but I will on here. DV doesn't happen because of the football but because of male violence. Attributing the football to DV gives an excuse and a reason.

There is no excuse and no reason. It is unacceptable, football is neither a reason nor an excuse, the moment we allow this to be so it the moment we allow abusers a free card.

I appreciate those that have posted the support number and please if anyone is suffering please speak out, there is support available and nothing you have done and nothing that has happened justifys what is happening to you.
