I dont get the new rules.. how are England through without playing yet. Seems dumb.
Good games yesterday though

From the 24 teams, 16 go through to next round. 4 of those teams are the best placed 3rd. There are now 2 teams who finished on 3 points in 3rd place which means any team with 4 points is through to next round.
The new rules have made the tournament less competitive during the group phases.

Yep it confused me a little until I looked at 'standings' on flash scores and they have created the extra third place 'group' at the bottom of the page. As we are on 4 points even if we end up in in 3rd position we are definitely in the top 4 of the 3rd place group.
