Well, I got the score right, but for absolutely the wrong reasons.

England were awful. Slow, passive, negative, lethargic. Scotland were outstanding, and if they had a player capable of putting the ball in the net they would have won the game, and deservedly so.

Very disappointed in England, very poor performance and I'm really disappointed with Kane - on this form he doesn't deserve to start Tuesday.

I'll only get to watch the late game today but I am hoping for wins for Hungary/Germany/Spain.

Last night’s performance was like watching a mid-table league game at the end of the season.

If I’m being very charitable, maybe if our early off-the-post chance had gone in the team might have raised their game a bit.

Pickford is the only one who deserves any real credit imo. Pains me to say it but I agree Kane is well out of sorts.

Yes and I have a number of other questions too.

It should have been Sterling for Grealish, and Grealish should have been given a free role behind the striker.

If Kane was to come off (and I agree not at his best) should have been for Calvert-Lewin to give someone to aim at, when we know Grealish can create (when in his preferred role) and will win set pieces.

I want to like Gareth Southgate and I respect he got us to a World Cup semi final but I just don’t think he utilises the squad properly. We have some genuinely amazing attacking talent - and he plays Rice and Phillips for 90 minutes and leaves Sancho on the bench? Was he happy with a draw maybe because otherwise that makes no sense. It was just all so slow and he left 2 defensive midfielders on.

Well done to Scotland. I don’t think they deserved to win necessarily as I think we had as many chances as they did (I think a draw was fair), but they played like they wanted it. As a team they were greater than the sum of their parts and we were less. I expect they’ll do well against Croatia and qualify.

Gareth does make some strange decisions and it didnt pay off last night.

We missed 1st half of game last night, queued for 2 hours to get jab and they didn't have a priority lane for football fans!😱🤣🤣🤣
