Can’t stand the female commentator, dropping her ‘t’s and ‘h’s It’s not the ‘first alf’ A pet peeve of mine.

That was a bit harsh.

No I can't stand the female commentator (Emma Hayes I believe) either! It feels like she's just talking and talking and trying to prove her knowledge but saying very little about what's happening on the pitch. Sounds very unnatural. Also found John Hartson yesterday tedious. I could listen to Ally McCoist all day though.

That card did seem a little harsh but suppose it was his second yellow.

I am so glad it's not just me complaining about the commentary - as well as the above she misses off gs as well.

As I am retired I have watched all the matches, so please may I join? You can tell my allegiance from my username. My DH was 18 for the 1966 World Cup - his school took some lucky people to the finals. We still have his ticket and programme.

I dont like ITV commentary at the best of times but the female commentator is annoying me. I am glad the amount of female pundits and commentators is on the rise though.
