Any Blue Jays fans about?

I know it's a UK site but I know there are Canadians on here.

Any Blue Jays fans want to cheer on the boys with me? None of my friends or family are baseball fans and I need to enjoy the post season with someone!

This thread has been a lot of fun. I grew up in a baseball-obsessed family and just absorbed it like the air we breathed. I have been lucky to have lived in some great baseball cities and so have acquired several team loyalties over the years. DH grew up in western NY near the Canadian border so Toronto has been one of our teams for a long time.

My others are Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies, NY Yankees, and Chicago Cubs.

So may I just add, Let's go, Cubbies!

22 years is nothing. The Cubbies have been waiting since Aught Eight of the last century

I can see I may have a bit of a conundrum on my hands if things turn out the way the pundits predict.

Am in Toronto and loving the excitement even though I know nothing about baseball. Go Jays go!

Not a good first game but there are still six games to go. The Jays can easily turn it around.

I'm out at my mom's and they have satellite tv. In watching game 2 but it's in French! Grr

Was a bit of a disappointing start, but they were down against Texas at first too. Just ramping up the tension, I'm sure!

Parent teacher conferences here tonight, maybe just as well since the local team is not covering itself in glory. But hurrah for the Blue Jays

I'm a huge Orioles fan from the UK. Not kept up with the post season this year, but we were where the Blue Jays were last year. Beaten by The Royals in the ALDS.

I have a soft spot for the Blue Jays as they are under dogs in the AL East just like the Orioles. And I saw my first ever game in Toronto, against the Orioles back in 2001.

I am also followed by Jose Bautista on Twitter, but he does follow a lot of people!!
