... and I am woefully unprepared 
This week has been week 1 of couch to 5k, I can only just jog for a minute!
I'm thinking that c25k will improve my running just in time for the course, so I at least can get between the obstacles, and there's a place in the park near me that has bars perfect for pull ups - I just need to get a regime sorted.
So can anyone help with tips to improve my strength? A plan to follow over a couple of months would be fab if there's anything like that online. I had a google, but nothing stood out, plus recommendations are always good 
I am not a sporty type, god knows why i've been talked into this
