Waterbabies, would it be any good for a two year old?

Hi, my daughter is coming up for 2 and after having her name down for mum and baby classes at local pool for around a year we are still on the waiting list with no indication of getting a place anytime soon. I am soo frustrated! Have been investigating waterbabies as appears to be only availability of lessons locally. I'm not convinced about the whole under water thing and its kinda expensive. It seems pretty geared around babies rather than toddlers.Has anyone started when their child was older?

I do puddle ducks which is the same sort of thing With my 20 mo and love it.

We've done it since he was newborn but lots of people have joined the class he's in now and enjoy it.

He loves the underwater parts (and it makes baths easier as I can just throw buckets of water over his head!)

It's expensive but the best thing we've done with him in terms of classes. But don't get the photos done. They're extortionate and we got better ones with a disposable underwater camera.

I think waterbabies only take babies under one.

They've started doing classes aimed at toddlers. DD goes (2.5) and loves it but she's been doing it since 12 weeks old and we've largely continued as we've made some good friends. It is really very good (in my opinion) but really very expensive and I think, at this age, she'd be fine with "normal" swimming lessons.
Basically it is suitable, I think it's good but V expensive for something that you could do much cheaper

Meant to say that it doesn't matter if you've not been doing it since the start. There are some songs to pick up but that won't take long!
