I was there, standing on the steps of St Paul's in my lunchbreak. Saw Mo doing a Mobot, Rebecca Adlington pointing to Ellie Simmonds and mouthing "IT'S ELLIE!" to the crowd in mock amazement, Tom Daley grinning like a cheshire cat and taking pictures on his Blackberry. Amazing atmosphere, amazing athletes, amazing games. :)

I have got to go and get my children

I can't record or pause on my stupid fat back telly .

I am flicking between 1 and 4. I am confusing myself.

I want it all to start again- although the Olympics started the day the dc finished school. I'm not sure I can cope with them being off again

and yes, I have to go get my children pesky children

The crowds are amazing - what fabulous, fabulous support folk have given to the games right from start to this the end.

wouldn't it be cool, if at the end of this there was a little street party with jelly? and wee hats. Lots left over from the Jubilee.

I usually walk to and from school, but for once I have the car today so am going to use it to save time and hopefully get back to see the end!!

Just got back to the office from watching the parade, what an incredible atmosphere. I suppose I should now delete my Olympics app, but I'm in denial.

Ellie is wonderful. It is my DD's dream now to meet her !

I sneaked DS out of school and he was one of the few kids there so loads of athletes waved to him (he was also shouting like a loon).
And Mo did a mobot AT HIM especially
