Arriving Late - Riverback Arena - 7 aside football tomorrow

Advice please - It is looking tight for us to arrive for our 13.30 session tomorrow - do you think it's ok to still get in if late?

Yes, I'm sure you'll be fine. We've been to Riverbank today and people were coming and going all the way trough the 5 a side football. It's not allocated seating so it could be hit and miss where you sit but you'll be fine going in late. Have you been to the Paralympics previously? It is much quicker getting through security than predicted but it is quite a walk to Riverbank from the main entrance (probably 20-25 mins). HTH!

It was very hot at Riverbank yesterday as there is no shade anywhere in the stand. Make sure you've got hats etc and don't forget your empty water bottles to fill up. There was a water filling point quite close so don't do it too near the entrance and then have to carry heavy bottles. The games makers (uniformed helpers) were very helpful with pointing out where the nearest loos etc were too so just ask them. Fab massive Marks and Spencers just by the entrance of Westfield if you have enough time to get food before you go in, much cheaper then the park if you're not bringing a picnic. Have a great day!
