Does it matter who is named on the tickets?

I booked some Paralympics tickets in my name, but I'm contemplating letting DH go instead (to take DS). Does this matter? Will they let him in even if the tickets are in my name? Surely they will, but DH seems to think it might be an issue. Anyone know the score?

When I went to the Olympics ds and I went early and dh came later - my name was on all of the tickets and dh had no difficulty turning up with a ticket with a woman's name on it.

No. You're allowed to pass them on to family and friends.

They don't even look at the name on the ticket. And passing on to family and friends is perfectly legal. I booked some tickets for me and DD1 but using DH's registration, no problem at all.

If he is really anxious, I think all he technically needs to do is have the ticket purchaser on hand by phone to confirm. But it won't happen. They are getting tens of thousands of people into the Park, they don't have time!

It doesn't matter. We are not checking.
