Using a slicing guillotine and my finger got too close to the very sharp blade - one photo shows said potato, as well as my sliced off skin 😬. The next pic shows the blood after a minute of trying to unsuccessfully stop the bleeding.
Off I went to the hospital, however they were unable to stitch it, as too much skin was removed - I could see white bone.
The next 3 pics show the very slow stages of healing - it took forever for the skin to grow back to cover it.
I did this in Jan’23 - my finger today is a bit crooked and I can bend it at the knuckle about 80% of what it was.
