Peeling finger after pompholyx eczema flare

Not sure if this counts as sporn but here’s my peeling finger. Am a bit stuck in a cycle of loads of pinprick blisters coming up and then my fingers peeling and cracking etc, gets a bit better and the same happens again.

Just had a big flap of skin peel at once so thought I’d share a pic!

Urgh - poor you! It's just the worst.

I had a fingertip that would regularly "deglove" during the winter for the same reason.

Steroid ointment eventually broke the cycle and whatever was causing it seems to have disappeared as I've been clear for a good few years now.

Yes that’s exactly it they seem to keep ‘degloving’. I’ve been using Betnovate ointment but it’s not shifting so I think I’ll try and get a GP appointment soon as it’s so sore. I’m an old hat at eczema and psoriasis so don’t usually need to get seen just repeats of my usual stuff.
