Acne and chin hairs in my early 40s

I hope this belongs here. I'm a woman in my early 40s and perimenopause has changed the game for me. I'm getting acne and chin hairs. Obviously I was devastated at first but recently I've come to terms with it.

So, this morning, I was in the car. I know how unsanitary this is but for the chin hairs, the car is the best place.

I don't have to wear makeup for work. There was this big chin zit and I squeezed it even though it wasn't ripe. As sick as it is, it felt so good. The fact that it wasn't a quick pop added to the pleasure. I eventually got stuff out. Then a ripe forehead zit. A quick pop.

I managed to get 3 chin hairs. The process of hunting for them, finding them, and pulling is satisfying. I'm downright grateful for my acne and chin hairs now. I just love my body, face, and skin. All the weirdness of it.

I love and hate my chin hairs, and I also sit in the car to pluck them, the mirror is the absolute best for seeing them. The horror and delight of spotting a long one is almost addictive.

you will end up with a scar to remember the spots by if you get them before they’re ready though…
