Dyshidrotic eczema from July, still ongoing but not as bad but it was the weirdest pattern of puss filled spots

Still get them but drier now, like tapioca balls and they pop under the skin.

I could push the little circles round under the skin

Extraordinary what can fascinate us!

It looks sore. Does it hurt? What does it feel like when you pop the tapioca and push it around? What happens to the balls?

Hope it's OK to ask!

MiffyBuns · 03/01/2025 20:02

It was sore, yes. It's still a little sore and very itchy.
The dark balls just make a popping sound but stay the same.
When it was the yellow puss I could push that around under the skin, move it all into one spot etc

How weird and wonderful (or awful!) the human body is.

LisaJohnsonsFacebookMole · 04/01/2025 00:02

Good lord! How is it treated? What is the risk of it recurring? I do hope you've got relief from it now. Did anything relieve the itching when you had it?

I've been on steroid cream, I can't get rid of it, though it's looked more like this for about 4 months.
I'm taking antihistamines for the itching.

I have this too. It's wild how it flares up sometimes.

PoorUncleBarry · 15/01/2025 20:35

You poor sod Op, my toes were plastered in this when I was little! I had it for years as my mum thought I was just lazy with having a bath/being clean. Hope you're already better.

ListenDontJudge · 25/01/2025 23:50

I can't even tell what body part that is! I had it once - soooooo itchy.

MiffyBuns · 26/01/2025 12:58

I get excema flare up sometimes and all that works for me is Betnovate from my GP.

Hecatoncheires · 06/03/2025 10:33

Oooh, I had that once when I was a teenager. A small patch of it on the inside of my right thumb. I'd totally forgotten about it until just now!
