Dodgy elbow help

Name changed for this.

Both my elbows are sore and slightly red and the L) elbow is sometimes painful when I bend my arm. Both elbows have scabs. R) elbow on the photo looks a bit puss filled but it’s just a scab. L) elbow has a bigger scab. The skin around the L) elbow is saggy and baggy like an elephant.
Do these look infected? Or is there something I can do to try and sort it out before venturing off to the GP?

They have been like this for a little while but just starting to get a little painful.

Could it be bursitis?

Referred to as monkey bums in our family. A build up of dry skin, hardening and getting irritated, cracked and sore.

Do you exfoliate and moisturise them? I find that regular cleaning with a soapy flannel, followed by a good moisturiser (E45, Cetaphil etc) sorts them out in time.

That looks infected. You should see your GP.

Looks a bit like psoriasis

Hell-bow!
My poor DD had something really similar..Drs decided not bursitis but did prescribe some antibiotic creams. It took ages but did eventually clear up.

Ooopff that looks so sore , personally I'd be heading to the pharmacist to see their suggestion it looks "more" than an irritation.
Hope you get relief for it soon

Definitely needs a medical opinion. Check if you can send photos to the GP. If it's hot or tender and swollen get seen urgently (signs of joint infection)

Definitely looks like psoriasis. If it is a regular moisturising can help.

The other thing that can cause this is resting on your elbows.
