Insect bite

Just been having a great time reading through the sporner threads. Thought some of you would enjoy my insect bite from a few years ago.
Nurse took my blood pressure using the same arm which made it pop 😬 Still devastated I didn't catch it on video.

Ooh I love the description of the blood pressure monitor making it pop. Was it a very itchy bite??

Thats a beamer, I'm afraid it would've been popped a long time before that in my house! Was it a horse fly? they are buggers for going septic. Thanks for sharing.

It was itchy and has travelled into my blood stream so I couldn't move my arm. I was waiting to go into theatre to have it properly sorted and cleaned when the nurse done my blood pressure, didn't have to in the end 😂 Popped with the blood pressure monitor and some IV antibiotics and I was good as new 😁

I have no idea what bit me, I didn't even feel it till it started swelling up. I'd love to know what it was!

Then a few weeks later sat on my hair straighteners!
