Lump above ear

Can anybody tell me if this is a cyst? I really hate the look of it but can't afford to have it removed- I'm half tempted to try and cut it open....

Looks like a skin tag. You may be able to freeze it off

It looks like a skin tag, tie some cotton around it and it will fall off in a few days

I didn't think about it being a skin tag, it seems quite big to be a tag and it doesn't have much of a 'stalk' to it?

Doesn’t look like a skin tag to me, well not what I think of as a skin Tag any way.

Did you have a pit there beforehand? I was wondering if it was a preauricular cyst.

I've already asked they won't do it as it's cosmetic :(

Were you born with it ? I’d go with something pre auricular too as pp has said.

How old are you? It could be sebhorreic keratosis if you're older.
