What's this?? Pubic area

I was treated for an infected boil at the end of November. Its in my pubic area and I don't shave or wax. I did squeeze it and pus/blood did come out. I expected the antibiotics to help it drain. But instead I'm left with a dark lump. No idea why or what ot is. It's not painful - but it does occasionally have a head on it.
Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

I've included one pic of it yesterday and the second pic is this evening after a bath.

Yep. Ingrowing hair. Like Favouritefruirs said squeeze it. Be gone tomorrow.

I'd break the skin with a clean sewing needle and get some tweezers.

It looks very much like a ingrown hair and makes sense why the head keeps coming back. You can treat the infection but if it's still in there, it'll just keep reoccurring.

I have squeezed it a few times... it just keeps filling up with pus lol. I should've gone to have it looked at a couple of weeks ago but the appointment was cancelled due to the nurse being off, then my son has been poorly...

It's in a really awkward place and my eyesight is shocking. But I'll give it a go

Ingrown hair. I put a dab of magnesium sulphate paste on overnight and then try giving it a squeeze the next day. The paste helps draw the bugger out.

Use wet salt on a plaster it will come up.
