My leg just exploded!

I have had a lump on my leg for months. I was told it was a blood clot. Tonight I found my leg was damp. LOOK!!!
Of course I squeezed. It was grim and glorious. No idea what it was that came out of it but it looked like snot and I now have a hole in my leg.
Please excuse the state of my legs. Couldn’t shave etc whilst it was lumpy. Tried once and shaved off the top layer. OUCH!!! 😆

My go to for cysts are an aloe leaf split in half and then bandaged on overnight. Remember to remove the spike bits on the edge. And don’t panic and rush yourself to a and e if when you wake up and the whole area ends up in a weird purple goo. Been there and done that. 🤣 The nurse was very impressed. She asked what I had done as it was apparently 10x a better job than they would have been able to do themselves surgically.

That looks like a small lipoma. It needs to be removed by a doctor otherwise it can grow back again. They are benign. Look for dr. Pimple popper. She is an expert on these. But go to your GP

No or atleast not yet. Was about 4 years ago.

@Caccini42 you were right! It’s a ganglion and as it’s ruptured (and still leaking) they will now excise.
