How to squeeze this

I've got a spot on my chin, just to the right low down. It hurts a bit and I really want to squeeze it because it won't start to heal until the pus is out.
I've tried but can't get it to pop.
I've read that some people stick a sterilise needle into sports. Would this work? How do I go about that?

No, I wouldn't stick a pin in, you'll just end up damaging, scarring and spreading any infection.

Have you got any magnesium sulphate paste? You can get it from the chemist and its great at drawing spots out, if you have a big boots/superdrug store near you there are salicylic acid plasters which are brilliant at reducing the swelling for these kinds of spot.

What sort of spot is it? Is it an acne related spot?

If so an ice cube helps with swelling. Then maybe a clay face mask and tea tree oil to try to bring it to a head and then squeeze. There was a good way to squeeze spots involving hot compress, needle etc which is supposed to avoid scarring.

Hot wash cloth and sudocrem over night and pop it in the morning.

As a veteran of the successful use of a sterilised needle on many an obstinate spot, I haven't got any scars and it didn't spread the infection. You do however need to be reasonably sure it's ready to go, either because it's come to a head or because you can feel that there's pus underneath the surface. You basically need to hold the needle in just-boiled water to ensure it is sterile, and make sure your fingers or any tissue you use are also clean.
