Wart what to do

6 year old has had a wart for months.
Gp phone call said to buy treatment on Amazon and use that
Did as the instructions said
3 weeks on from finishing . It looks like this.
Will it just fall off eventually?
Gp again?

They don’t prescribe anymore for wart or verruca removal stuff so will likely just say the same thing, OTC treatment. Maybe get a better treatment, speak to a pharmacist & they can tell you what is best to buy.

My 5 year old had a wart last year on her knuckle. Used bazucca on it. It was not pretty. Doubled in size, went black and then after a week or two it eventually came off with the plaster. Barely left a mark. It looked very much like your picture about half way through.

Thanks everyone that's good to know. Will give it a bit longer unless it becomes painful

We ended up using scholl patches/cream then I froze it and seriously dug the thing out. It bled. A LOT. But it never came back
