Mahoosive tonsil stone

I could see a sneaky one so did my usual with a cotton bud, but then I spotted the edge of one underneath the foldy/flappy bird had a bit of a prod and a cough and out came this bad boy 😳

Surely they can't get bigger than that?

The tiny dot of one is the first one.

I once had one like this, it was amazing.

I was bent over for ages to pick something up that had fallen under my chair and I felt something drop in my mouth.

Spat a massive one out.

Well done you x

Holy cow. That is potentially record breaking.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 15/02/2023 18:09

I’ve got 8 stuck on my tonsils. I can’t do cotton bud thing.

I’m jealous.

jellybelly22 · 15/02/2023 18:14

That is impressive. Was it sore? Did it stink? Was there notable relief once it was out? So many questions.

I've only ever managed to get one out before. I had a horrendous sore throat and thought it was tonsillitis. Then I read up on tonsil stones, had a prod around and extracted a great one. Felt better immediately. It was tiny compared to this beast but still very satisfying.

You can buy a suction tool to remove them if that would be better for you 🤣

Mmmmdanone · 16/02/2023 16:50

I didn't know about them either until dd had them at around 8. I had no idea what it was. And the smell...🤮

BotterMon · 16/02/2023 17:01

Thank goodness I'm of an age where they whipped your tonsils out at age 4.

Calling · 17/02/2023 13:16

Impressive!

LadyOfTheFliessssss · 17/02/2023 13:18

That's a beauty!

AlisonDonut · 17/02/2023 13:27

I used to get these. And I got colds all the bloody time. I once had a green snotty cold and woke up the next morning and peeled a layer of hardened snot from the back of my tongue, inside my mouth and it went right back to my tonsils. Peeled it out of my nose and I could feel it peeling off in the back of my throat.

I just remembered that, thank you OP.

I can't help but check. I mean, I know it will. It always does. Yet somehow I feel obliged to crush it and check Envy

Primroseprimula · 17/02/2023 13:37

Saw the top of the pic at first with just the little one and thought "pah" then scrolled down and saw THE BEHEMOTH

Congratulations on cooking up such a beauty, I'm dead jealous

lovemypuppa · 17/02/2023 17:48

There really seems to be no product to kill the smell of these gruesome little bits of rotting food. So glad I had my tonsils out 30 yrs ago.

GettingStuffed · 17/02/2023 18:28

I had them in my teens I removed them with my fingernails, never that big though
