Removed some plaque today

So, a few days ago some plaque came loose on a back tooth, it was quite sharp and irritating, but crumbled as I removed it. Today, the rest of it came away, I heard a scraping noise thinking I’d broken my tooth, but alas, it was more plaque. It was dark and hard. I saved it to take a picture, we were out in the car, but then it broke into pieces 😔
I’m so relieved it’s out though. It was really bothering me. I’m sure the dentist will be pleased when I see him next.

I was flossing and thought I'd split my tooth when a whole piece came off my front lower tooth.
It looked like an ugly coloured press on nail. Was an excellent shape.

@MotherMole weirdly it didn’t smell, but was like it was a piece from my tooth, but then broke in half. It was sharp, hence why it probably felt unusual with my tongue.

@jay55 great description. Mine was curved in shape and sharp, so could’ve been mistaken for a finger nail.

Still can’t believe it broke.

Facebooks obviously been tracking me. It’s just shown me a video of a lady who cares for pigs. She pulls gunk out of their eyes, trims their tusks and so on. Have you seen it? In one clip she pulls clumps of bristly hairs out of holes in their mouths?!?
