Look what I found in my dogs ear!!!!

Was checking my dogs ears today, actually I was giving them a bit of a clean as they do get very dirty inside and I thought I’d stumbled across a big lump of dark goo. Gently prised it out and it was a bloody grass seed covers in dog ear stuff! I might have sniffed it 😂 So glad I got it as it can be dangerous in dogs , but jeeez how long had that little baby been in there! The 5p in the pic is for size reference only and wasn’t found in the ear as well. 😀

My dog ended up with two 1/2 inch grass seeds growing in his head after they entered thru a small cut in his mouth! He had this MASSIVE lump on his head (above cheek) and vet said it was a harmless cyst until it started leaking gunk everywhere! 2 HUGE GRASS SEEDS 🤮

My neighbours dog just has 2 of these removed from one ear, last week. It cost her over £300. The vet said, if it had been left any longer they would have migrated down into the ear drum and punctured it.

My friend lost her lovely Springer due to a grass seed that he inhaled and eventually made its way to his heart and caused catastrophic bleeding. They're bastards.
