Tonsil stone/abscess?!

Has anyone had a tonsil stone that seeped puss? I have been growing this for a few weeks and assumed it was a tonsil stone but just noticed that it is seeping puss. Should I do anything about it?! I don't feel poorly or anything...

Have you tried prodding it with a cotton bud to see if it pops out?

It seems to be draining slowly, when I use a cotton bud it just wipes a bit of puss off but nothing dramatic - I can't do too much without gagging!

i'd poke it with a tooth pic or similar

can you try to vid if you do? might need someone to help

I find tonsil stones pop out easier if you push up from underneath, maybe that'll pop it out?

Gargle with warm salty water, really gargle for ages then prod it and come back and show us a photo!!

Looks like you've got a stone on the other tonsil too....

It has pretty much drained already, not much poking required! Still a bit swollen. I have since read about cysts and it probably wasn't puss but mucous instead. Weird!

The other side needs doing too!!

Well as requested I've poked something out of the other side although it wasn't hard so I don't know if it was a tonsil stone, are they hard? Hopefully up to standard now 😁

Hello, just a few weeks ago i've noticed the same thing in my throat next to my right tonsil..when i popped it out there was something like a mucus inside it
.. now after few weeks it is showing again . Have you seen any doctor? Do you know what was it?

At was at the doc. He said its nothing to worry about. It is a normal thing
