It's on my forearm. Been there about a fortnight. Sore to the touch. Hard. Awaiting GP phone call next Monday. Not been stung, i'd definitely remember!

Looks like molluscum contagiosum but a single spot is odd.

Hoppinggreen · 20/01/2022 20:16

I agree it’s like Mollusum.
DD only had 1 spot for about a month then she got 3 smaller ones. Then the big one got infected and had to be cleaned out and it went pretty quick, as did the others

StinkyBumFartyBaby · 20/01/2022 20:38

Oh how disappointing. So mundane! Was hoping it would be something more interesting!

Pop it and see...

STICK A PIN IN IT STICK A PIN IN IT!!!!

(Obviously don’t really.)

(…unless you want to…)

ForgotwhatIcameinherefor · 21/01/2022 00:48

No need to stick a pin in you can see where to squeeze 🤓

StinkyBumFartyBaby · 21/01/2022 00:51

I have tried to pop it, just not happening. I haven't stuck a pin in it but I have tried to rweeze out the tiny white bit in the middle. Still, nothing doing.its quite solid. If it is MC, how likely am I to give it to the kids?

Could it be a cherry angioma?

SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek · 03/02/2022 22:39

Ive got one if these, had it for about a month. The damn thing is growing, its itchy, sore and I keep catching it so I'm keeping a plaster on it for the time being!

Mischance · 03/02/2022 22:41

OH was GP - he used to say that the advice not to pop these was wrong. His view was that popping some would release the contents around and about and initiate a stronger immune response.

SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek · 04/02/2022 07:19

I'll have to be brave!

Lavendersquare · 04/02/2022 09:45

@SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek I think if it's been there a while and is still growing it should probably be looked at by a Dr.

SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek · 09/02/2022 16:48

Been referred to hospital, two week rule!

Babymamaroon · 17/02/2022 14:58

@SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek how did you get on at hospital? I hope it was nothing sinister

SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek · 17/02/2022 17:44

A whirlwind...saw consultant, he said "pop next door" .
Was whipped off immediately. Squamous cell carcinoma. Thanks for asking @Babymamaroon all is good!

Babymamaroon · 17/02/2022 18:09

@SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek am very pleased to hear it was a good outcome! Good job you got it checked Smile

@StinkyBumFartyBaby did you get yours checked out?
