He thinks it’s an insect bite and doesn’t seem bothered. I think it needs to be seen by a doctor. Medical attention yes or no?

That looks infected! Draw a line round the red area with a sharpie or something and if the red area grows then he'll need antibiotics. Looks nasty.

It’s going down now. He really hates any kind of attention so I was dreading trying to get him to a doctor. Thankfully it’s getting better.
