Spot or boil?

I've got this angry red lump on my shoulder. Painful enough that it kept me awake last night. No head on it so it's currently slathered in magnesium sulphate. Not sure if it's a boil or an extra large zit!

Is it near your vaccination site... If you've had one?

Is that fluid in the middle? Could it be a bite?
