I have had a massive Verruca for years, I have never managed to get rid of it and now it has grown a baby! Blush I’m now at the last resort of using Scholl Verruca and wart treatment pen. This is the journey to hopefully getting rid of them. The last stop before visiting the podiatrist!

Picture is of the first application of the scholl treatment pen.

Tip from a consultant orthopedic surgeon specialising in feet put nail varnish on the verruca. It blocks oxygen supply to the verruca and kills it off

sandyposy · 08/04/2021 00:12

How is it going? I started with same stuff on same day, with a 15 yr old verucca. Not that impressed so far!

Yukkatree12 · 08/04/2021 09:49

Sorry for not updating, I’m now on the last day of the 4 day treatment before the 4 day break. It has gotten darker, it occasionally hurts/stings, apart from that I have noticed no difference. I have tried nail varnish and that just did not make a difference Confused. Here is a picture of it this morning.

I had a veruca that lasted YEARS. Tried every over the counter treatment available. Had it frozen off. Tried self-surgery. Nothing worked. A different GP recommended covering it with duct tape and that got rid of it within a week! It was a genuine miracle Grin

An update. So after 4 days of leaving the scholl on and letting it rest for four days (it’s been quite painful!). This morning was the time to file and dig whilst in the bath. I managed to get a big lump out of the biggest one and a smaller lump from the baby one! The picture shows the holes left from it, another application applied this morning.

Oooohh good going

Happytohelp1 · 24/04/2021 20:53

How is it going op?

TokenGinger · 24/04/2021 22:28

I am invested.

Grapesofsloth · 24/04/2021 22:41

Good luck! I failed with diy removal many many times... I blame my lack of consistency.
Finally got rid of them after seeing a podiatrist who used swift microwave therapy. It was ££ and intensely hurt for about 10 seconds on each one. Totally worked in one treatment.

Bomchiccawick · 24/04/2021 22:44

Any update OP? I’m invested

EnglishRain · 25/04/2021 10:17

Update needed! I also kind of want to see the lumps you got out too...

Yukkatree12 · 09/05/2021 09:16

Hi everyone sorry for the lack of update as I have been ill the last few weeks. Major update though I got out two lumps and I’ve finally reached the core (I’m hoping!). Here are the pics of the two holes I have and also the lumps I have taken out Grin

This is wonderful. Please come back with more updates if there are any.

The lumps are very pleasing.

Bomchiccawick · 11/05/2021 09:41

That is so gross and brilliant at the same time Grin

ursuslemonade · 11/05/2021 10:58

Good work OP.

Shannith · 11/05/2021 11:04

They are beautiful. I love you OP.

Keep going. And posting. Grin

I had a 27 year old monster I finally got rid of. The foot roller sander thing is also helpful as well as digging it out. Hopefully you've got it all out now, but be warned mine grew back and I had to start all over again. It has definitely gone now

Yukkatree12 · 16/05/2021 09:37

Another update: I brought a foot sander of the advice of a pp, which has been very helpful and very satisfying! Managed to get digging and was at war with it this morning, I dug quite far down until it started to hurt quite badly. It didn’t bleed though. A question though, how do I know it is all out? Blush

The first picture is during the digging, after the digging and then after the application of the treatment.
