Is this infected or not? It feels very hot but I'll love to pop it

What is it from?

It's just from my shoes! Haven't been able to get any new ones for a while!

Doesn’t look infected to me.

Don’t pop it. The bubble is there for a reason - to protect your foot while the wound heals itself. Once popped it will also be much more painful.

And it’s not infected I don’t think - if you pop it you will just get loads of clear liquid.

Thanks, what do you think the redness is from then? Maybe more rubbing? It's gone from clear to that

Don't pop it. It is protecting your skin

Just looks red from the irritation I suspect. I’d leave it well alone.

If it was infected it would be yellow/green. The red is just your flesh/blood. Dont pop it but stop wearing the shoes! Try to keep it in the fresh air.

I think if it was infected it would have a redder margin around it . If you pop it you run the risk of introducing infection.
It may have bled a little under the skin or be a bit bruised.
Can you get a large blister plaster and cover it leave it for a few days.

I had one like that on my heel this week. I popped it .....there was lots of clear pale pinky liquid. I've put a blister plaster over it (the hydrocolloid type) - which you just leave until it starts to peel off. Allows the blister to heal.
