Bum Spot

Name change because well...

I’ve got the MOST painful spot on my bum.

I just dont know what to do about it, its ruining my half term because every time I move it hurts.

I've had a good look and taken some truly horrifying photos to try and see whats going on, it just looks like a spot, although no head/ does not seem to have pus or be “poppable”.

Ive done hot compresses, slathered it in sudocreme. But to no avail, said spot is seemingly right in an area that means I cant do anything without hurting it.

I don't think its a doctor situation, as it seems to just be a spot and its only been two days.

Any ideas how to calm it down, stop it hurting, get on with having a nice half term with my toddler?

Exactly @labcoatpocket. Same here. I’d never take a chance on a spot in that area again. I’d rather have the pain of giving birth than going through the pain of having a deep wound packed daily again.

Ha, really wish I could take a photo without showing everyone EVERYTHING.
So updates. Tried fo squeeze it. Had to do a mental yoga mirror situation to even get close. 3 year old started screaming like he was being murdered half way through, turns out Paw Patrol had ended . I gave it a good go but ut just made it hurt, still doesn’t look like it has a head.
Went to Boots and got magnesium sulphate and a dressing, am currently slathered in the stuff and my bum does feel better.

Hopefully it forms a head and you can squeeze it! Would a bath help tomorrow perhaps?! Good luck!

Why are there no photos! It's the law to have photos!

I had one once. It was so painful when I sat down. I eventually asked DH to look at it and he said there was a huge head on it. I asked him to help me.

All he did was slightly touch it. He was so grateful for wearing his glasses - he got a face full of arse zit pus. He was horrified for weeks.

ImRealHonest that sounds glorious.
I'm sad that I don't know anyone with such things of beauty that they need me to 'look' at.
