Ok. So I apologise for lack of photos. It was so small that I couldn't get a good one.

Need some ideas! DD had a white lump on her chin that was getting steadily a little bigger. It looked almost like a spot but with no head.

Squeezed it and a complete sphere popped out. It was fairly hard and looked as if it was covered in a kind of membrane. Almost looked like a mini eyeball. Whole are bled a bit but that's it.

What on earth could it have been? I vaguely remember my DS having one too and after I popped it, it never came back or spread.

Sorry no help...

Sounds like a milia (whitehead)

eausolovely · 30/07/2020 00:12

Could it have been a milia? You aren't really supposed to pop them I don't think but they tend to be little spheres under the skin. Don't think it will do any harm though, my other half has one on his cheek

I have a recurring one of these on my upper eyelid.
agony to pop but a sporners needs must.
sounds exactly like your description

This one didn't hurt her to pop out at all, which was odd! It was so fascinating! I've had milia and this really didn't look like one. It was harder and definitely not a whitehead. Very odd

@IKEA888 - that could be a chalazion? My daughter had one when she was little.

AuditAngel · 21/08/2020 19:32

Sounds like Molloscum. This is very infectious so be careful

morethanmeetstheeye · 22/08/2020 02:53

Thank you both for posting. It's definitely not a chalazion as it was under her chin. From what I know, they're only on eyes? And it also doesn't appear to molloscum. I've dealt with that before plus it's not spread. I think it was either a small cyst or a hardened spot. I'm thinking cyst...
