What to do about this?

My sketchers have stupid pretend laces and they did this to my foot. It's gradually turned red from friction I guess as I work shifts.

My question is, should I wait for it to pop or just pop it myself?

What to do about this?

I'm not sure on what you're meant to do

Don't pop it, it will have raw flesh under it and that is incredibly painful. Get some blister plasters, boots own are pretty good. Put one on and leave it until it is falling off then replace. Keep going until the blister is healed. It will be much less painful for you.
