My first footner

Currently doing my very first footner.

I’m hoping it works as well as people say because I’ve got hard skin on the side of both big toes that can get a bit painful

Day 1...and the skin on the bottom of my foot feels tight

I keep flexing it as I can actually feel the skin tighten and relax

Really odd feeling

what's a footner?

GrumpySausage · 05/07/2020 20:36

Ooh if it works, you're in for a treat. Peeling for daaaaaays 😊

Chaaaaaching · 05/07/2020 20:36

Following out of morbid curiosity Grin

It’s like a sock filled with stuff that you put on your feet for an hour. Then after about 3/4 days, the skin peels away to leave you with soft feet

scary!

CorianderLord · 05/07/2020 22:09

I did one the other week. Glorious, still peeling bits off now

covetingthepreciousthings · 05/07/2020 22:38

Are these worth the money? I think I found them for £9.99 on Boots website.. I was debating it as I feel like if it peels so much it would be worth the cost..

Report back with pictures please OP

Photo! Grin

Is it Footner that's the best or do people recommend any others? Itching to give one a go but I have very sensitive skin

I found a foot mask worked better for me . Instead of removing the dry skin it moisturiser it. Mine costs £1 in the pound shop.

razey · 07/07/2020 11:56

I enjoyed mine enormously

Soubriquet · 07/07/2020 12:05

Nothing seems to be happening now. No peeling skin Sad

OP, I found it took about 5 days for the thin skin on my feet to peel - the bits on my toes and the softer parts. The thicker bits took well over a week, though my feet did look like lizard feet for a while before

Pelleas · 07/07/2020 12:20

When I did it, it took several days to work. It was great fun but there was no long-term benefit and it dried my feet out, so I wouldn't bother again - you get better results just pumicing and moisturising.

SospanFrangipan · 07/07/2020 20:35

The 89p ones from home bargains are just as good! One of my favourite pamper things to do, as it's the gift that keeps on giving 😂

StealthNinjaMum · 14/07/2020 22:53

Op i’ve heard they can take a few days to start working so don’t give up.

Soubriquet · 15/07/2020 08:27

It worked really well...but I was so excited I forgot to take photos Blush

Honestly though, my feet feel lovely

All is not lost though. I made dh do one and he has thick hard skin on his feet so his should be juicy

I will get pictures for his!

I think I need to LTB

He won’t let me take photos...or even peel the skin

There’s a big thick bit of skin he keeps waving in my face but won’t let me touch it Sad

Divorce him. There's simply no other option.
