I just popped a milia on my eyelid!

I've had this annoying milia on my left eyelid for a few months and it had got big enough that it was sore when I put eyeshadow on. I did try to get a picture (I promise!) but my stupid phone wouldn't focus, and tonight I went at it with a needle and it just popped straight out! My eyelid feels so smooth!

Ooh that must have been so satisfying.

You had guts taking a needle to your eyelid. I have one in my lower eyelid, it's only small so I'm leaving it now but I'd be interested to hear more on how you did yours.

I had one under my eye for years and years, then a few weeks ago it started feeling more raised and a bit annoying, and then one day I just rubbed it and it fell out!

@BeverlyGoldberg I just pulled my eyelid tight with one hand and stabbed it from the side, on the second poke the little ball inside just came straight out on the needle. I was a bit wary of doing it so close to my eye but it was really starting to annoy me!

I love those little balls!

Interesting. I've had a small one for years maybe I should just attack it.

I get these around my eyes all the time...I poo the pesky things usually squeezing with tweezers! A day or two later and all is smooth!! I get them in my eyebrows too

I get rid of them with a needle and a magnifying mirror. Grin

Pinkywoo I did the same this week. Can I suggest you get your GP to check your cholesterol as they are often a symptom, my first most definitely was.

Should clarify, milia on the eyelid, not in other places.
