Knee weirdness

Hello!

I have this weird lump on my knee - am assuming it's a cyst. It can we a little sore!

I've picked and prodded and only a tiny bit of goo comes out. How can I deal with this at home?

It might be a big spot. My DH gets them on his knee sometimes, if he's been kneeling down a lot. They usually eventually pop and a lovely big solid yellow lump comes out!
