What could this be?!

I've had this on the back of my shoulder for a few years. I know it looks like a mole on the photo but it's actually a hard, black lump under the skin. Maybe the size of a pea but flatter. It occasionally itches. I've (obviously) tried squeezing etc but nothing happens. It's not accessible enough to try anything else!

I had a mole checked a few years back and mentioned this to the doctor who just said 'don't worry about that'. Helpful!

I'd be poking that with a needle and seeing what comes out, but I have no self control so don't listen to me.

My son had one like that, slowly came to surface and when it came out was a small hard lump and now has healed no problem, took a good year to come out though ...BUT can I suggest you just get it checked by doctor just in case...

Can you get someone to put a hot flannel on it then give it a good squeeze?

Yep. I'm no doctor but it really looks like a pore of winer to me. You need a sporner friend to help you get it out!!

Where are you based? Surely near enough to one of us that somebody can come round.
