This is agony. It's between my fourth toe and little toe, but on the fourth.
Tried stabbing...
and there's redness and swelling on the front of the toe.

It looks like it might be athlete's foot. Get some antifungal cream or powder and see if it heals.

OpenYourEyes · 31/08/2019 20:55

Athletes foot. If you have any thrush cream in that might help.

mankyfourthtoe · 31/08/2019 20:59

I agree the bottom bit looks like that, it's got some sudocreme there. But it's the circle like bit to the right

OP posts:
confusednorthner · 31/08/2019 21:00

Is the circle a verruca?

mankyfourthtoe · 31/08/2019 21:03

It's odd. I've never had a verucca hurt, but this is really throbbing and the front of my toe is swollen and red.

The circle bit looks like a corn to me. Very sore! I can't remember how I got rid of mine but I think it was something to do with corn patches.

mankyfourthtoe · 31/08/2019 21:17

Corn!! Well not got one of the before. Off to google

OP posts:
MileyWiley · 31/08/2019 21:23

I think it's a corn too. Horrible painful things ☹️

mankyfourthtoe · 31/08/2019 21:24

Oh fun. Would the front of my toe be red and puffy. Can they be infected?

OP posts:

The lines are from last night and this morning, seems to have spread to my little toe a bit now.
Went to a pharmacist, who without even bending said go to the gp tomorrow

Ow! What's this?
OP posts:
StarlitTrees · 06/09/2019 17:36

So what did the GP say it was OP?

mankyfourthtoe · 06/09/2019 19:04

I've seen a nurse and pharmacist. Both who just pulled faces at it.
'Oh isn't it hard to see'
Well yes!
So I've been told it's a corn or a blister. It's still red but not as bad. I'm doing salt baths and Savlon and I've decided to go to a podiatrist later next week if it's still there.
Strangely feels quite odd, perhaps swelling is pushing on a nerve maybe.

I had athletes foot near my big toe nail that turned into sepsis after a week. I managed to see a emergency Dr via 101 when it started to turn nasty. Just be careful it gets worse and the red bit starts travelling up your foot.

mankyfourthtoe · 06/09/2019 19:22

I was worried about that, I drove to the nurse and when I got there there was no sign of the extra red, so I looked like a right numpty.

OP posts:
Bodear · 10/09/2019 21:05

What was it OP? X

mankyfourthtoe · 11/09/2019 10:25

I've no idea now. Reluctant to spend money as it's getting better day by day.
Thank everyone
