I'm assuming it's originating from an ingrowing hair due to its location but it's just getting more sore and angrier each day.

Oh I have been there more times than I'd like to admit and it's incredibly painful!!I have had to have it lanced in the ER 1 time bc it just kept getting bigger and worse.If you start to run a fever or get red streaks from it you probably want to have it checked out.
But hopefully it'll begin to go down on it's own.I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. All my best to you!
